Starts 12:00 Thursday 10 August. Ends 20:30 Sunday 13 August.

The event takes place in Bristol at the
Ashton Court Estate
Aston Court Mansion, BS41 9JN

This may involve about a half hour walk.

Particularly impressed with the ‘overview’ pages (menu then ‘overview’)

Apparently the most popular sessions are the:
• Nightglow and Firework Finale, which take place on
Thursday and Saturday at 21:00.

• Mass Balloon Lifts which take place on each of the 4 days at 18:00.

Note: The official carpark last entry is at 17:00

If you don’t like huge crowds, what aboutthe early morning sessions:
o 06:00 Mass Hot Air Balloon Lift – Friday, Saturday and Sunday
o 08:00 Model Hot Air Balloon Competitions – Friday, Saturday and Sunday

And just to make things even more interesting:
The Clifton Suspension Bridge will be closed on:
1) Thursday 10th and
2) Saturday 12th
from 18.00pm until Midnight to all pedestrians, cyclists and vehicles.

Evening closures during the fiesta were first implemented eleven years ago following concerns that the 150-year-old landmark could suffer potentially unacceptable structural stresses due to the sheer volume of pedestrian traffic.

Cross your fingers for good weather.
